The World Partnership Walk

The World Partnership Walk is returning to London June 2. Take steps with us by creating or joining a team, registering as an individual, or donating to this great cause. 100% of funds raised by the World Partnership Walk go directly to fund international development projects – not one cent is spent on administration.

Projects are identified and implemented by local communities, targeting areas of greatest need and providing long-term sustainable solutions – like revitalizing a rural economy, ensuring clean water and sanitation, strengthening community-based organizations and educating new generations of girls and women.

Funds raised by the Walk also help AKFC to leverage additional support from major donors like the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). This means that the impact of every dollar you raise is multiplied many times over.

Breathe Easy Benefit - 2nd Time's A Charm! Fundraising Benefit for Danielle Davidson

Door Prizes! Raffles! Games!

Mrs. Danielle Davidson is a 28 year old London resident living with Cystic Fibrosis.

Less than 2 years ago, Danielle received her first double lung transplant. She made a remarkable recovery and her health was improving at an encouraging rate. Thanks to the incredible team at Toronto General Hospital, Danielle was able to accomplish many things she never thought possible. Unfortunately, her new lungs have not been cooperating for some time and her health is declining rapidly. As such, Danielle has officially been re-listed to receive a second double lung transplant. We know from the last time that she is looking at about $30,000 in medical expenses that will not be covered by OHIP so we're hoping to help with these out-of-pocket expenses with this benefit.
